Kurt Spickerman – UX Content Designer
Hi, I’m Kurt.
I’m a bit of a class clown. I’m the one cracking jokes in the corner. But they’re the dry kind where nobody gets hurt.
I’ve had a few lives. I started in restaurants – first bussing tables, then baking bagels, a short stint in bread bagging, before tossing pizzas, busting out burgers, and, finally, flipping fajitas.
But my back hurt and the pay wasn’t great. And I loved to write. Grad school followed. I wrote a rhyming cover letter and got a job at a content marketing agency. UX called to me – and I listened. There was a boot camp in there. And now here I am, a Content Designer!
In my free time, I still like to cook. I also love mountain biking, reading, metal work (there’s a link to some pictures below), and trying to bring my high-anxiety rescue dog a little more joy.
I approach content design – and life – always with curiosity and compassion. I’m here to learn and happy to lend a helping hand. Or to just listen.
